IFEMA, the challenge of producing an emergency hospital

Only 18 hours after the request of the Community of Madrid to build a hospital in IFEMA, the pavilions housed the first patients infected by COVID-19. Less than a week later, the capacity is for about 1,500 patients.

Less than a week later, the capacity is for nearly 1,500 patients. The entire organizational and assembly process has involved the daily work of more than a thousand professionals, in order to achieve, between all of them, a halt in the expansion of COVID-19.
